Day 1
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and travel to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley and into the expansive savannahs of southern Kenya.
Upon arrival, check into your camp or lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the Mara plains, where you’ll likely spot elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, and possibly lions.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation around the campfire.
Day 2
Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara on game drives. Begin with an early morning safari when predators are most active, followed by a bush breakfast or a return to camp.
After a short break, continue with a full-day game drive, possibly reaching the Mara River—famous for wildebeest crossings during the migration season.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and keep an eye out for the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.
In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner. Optional activities include visiting a local Maasai village to learn about traditional culture.
Day 3
Begin with an optional pre-dawn game drive for final wildlife sightings.
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
You may stop along the way for curio shopping or a scenic view of the Rift Valley escarpment.
