DAY 1: NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI – SOAR TO THE SHADOWS OF KILIMANJARO
Your journey begins with a transfer from your hotel to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Board your scheduled flight for a scenic 45-minute journey to Amboseli National Park — one of Kenya’s most picturesque parks, famous for its large elephant herds and views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Upon arrival at the airstrip, a warm Twende Tours driver-guide will welcome you and take you on a mini game drive en route to your lodge. Settle in, enjoy lunch, and soak in the panoramic views of snow-capped Kilimanjaro.
In the afternoon, head out for your first full game drive, where you might spot elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and graceful giraffes. Return to camp as the sun sets behind the mountain — a truly iconic scene.
DAY 2: EXPLORE AMBOSELI – WILDLIFE AND CULTURE
Begin your day with an early morning game drive. This is the best time to see wildlife when the skies are clear and Mt. Kilimanjaro is fully visible.
You’ll explore Amboseli’s diverse habitats — including swamps, open plains, and dry lakebeds — all attracting a wide variety of animals and birds.
Later in the day, enjoy a cultural visit to a local Maasai village, where you’ll learn about their pastoral lifestyle, beadwork, and traditional homes.
In the late afternoon, embark on another game drive with chances to spot elusive predators. End the day with a fireside chat or stargazing under the vast African sky.
DAY 3: MORNING SAFARI & FLY BACK TO NAIROBI
Start your final day with a sunrise safari, capturing the golden light across the Amboseli plains.
After breakfast at your lodge, bid farewell to the wilderness and transfer to the airstrip. Your mid-morning flight back to Nairobi gives you aerial views of the African savannah.
Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, our driver will transfer you back to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
