DAY 1: MOMBASA OLD TOWN TO MTWAPA – HERITAGE MEETS THE COAST
Start your coastal adventure with a guided walking tour of Mombasa Old Town, exploring the narrow alleys, Swahili doors, Fort Jesus (UNESCO site), and the spice-scented air of centuries-old trade routes.
Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive along the Mombasa–Malindi highway, with a stop at Nyali Beach for a refreshing dip or coastal brunch with ocean views.
By afternoon, arrive in Mtwapa for a boat ride through Mtwapa Creek, surrounded by lush mangroves and birdlife. Optionally, visit the Jumba la Mtwana Ruins, an ancient Swahili settlement, before heading to your beachfront stay.
Evening relaxation at your hotel with dinner by the beach and the calming sound of the Indian Ocean waves.
DAY 2: MTWAPA TO KILIFI – SCENIC SHORES & CREEK LIFE
