3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
DAY 1: NAIROBI - SAMBURU
Pick-up from Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport . Depart for Samburu via road. Scenic drive through central Kenya, Mount Kenya views, and Isiolo town (~6–7 hrs).
Arrive at camp/lodge. Refresh with a welcome drink, check-in, and lunch. Afternoon Game Drive- Explore samburu’s dry riverine forests and savannahs expected to see. The ‘Samburu Special Five , ”: Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk. Elephants , lions, leopards, and possibly wild dogs.
Return to lodge. Diner and optional bonfire storytelling or star-gazing session.
DAY2 : FULL DAY IN SAMBURU
Begin the day with a morning game drive when the animals are most active. This is also a great time for birdwatching and predator sightings .Return to camp for breakfast, followed by leisure time .
After lunch, enjoy a second game drive in a different area of the reserve. Optionally, visit a nearby Samburu village to learn about local traditions, beadwork, and pastoral life. This experience is guided and respectful of local culture.
Return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening. Some camps may include a traditional dance or storytelling session.
DAY 3 : FINAL SAFARI DAY & RETURN TO NAIROBI
Enjoy a final early morning game drive or relax at the lodge while soaking in the sunrise views over the rugged terrain.
After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Nairobi
