Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi
Your adventure begins as a friendly Twende Tours representative welcomes you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and escorts you to the elegant Sarova Stanley Nairobi Hotel. After check-in, unwind and enjoy the city’s vibrant energy or opt for an optional afternoon excursion to the Giraffe Centre or Nairobi National Museum
Enjoy your evening at leisure, preparing for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Into Tanzania – Journey to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your short flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Upon arrival, a Twende Tours guide will greet you and transfer you to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Settle into your room at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge and enjoy an evening game drive or scenic crater rim walk before dinner.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Following a hearty breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari in one of Africa’s most biodiverse wildlife habitats. From endangered black rhinos to large lion prides, the crater floor offers unmatched wildlife viewing.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush and return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4: From Ngorongoro to Serengeti
Today, your journey continues with a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. En route, you’ll pass Maasai villages and the vast plains that define northern Tanzania.
After checking in at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, set out on an afternoon game drive before returning for dinner beneath the starlit skies.
Days 5 & 6: Explore the Serengeti
Spend the next two days immersed in the legendary Serengeti. With morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll track wildlife through open savannah, riverine woodlands, and kopje-dotted landscapes. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration or predator action along the Grumeti or Mara Rivers.
Evenings are spent enjoying local cuisine and storytelling around the campfire at your lodge.
Day 7: Return to Nairobi
After a final morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll transfer to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, a Twende Tours driver will take you to the Sarova Stanley Hotel.
Spend your last evening enjoying Nairobi’s fine restaurants, local crafts, or simply relaxing.
Day 8: Farewell and Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
