DAY 1: NAIROBI – MT. KENYA REGION (NARO MORU)
Begin your journey with a morning pick-up in Nairobi. Drive through scenic central Kenya with a photo stop at the Equator. On arrival in Naro Moru, explore the forest surroundings or visit a local cultural center to learn about Kikuyu heritage and Mt. Kenya folklore. Relax in the cool mountain climate and take in views of the snow-capped peaks in the distance.
DAY 2: MT. KENYA – ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
Travel to Aberdare National Park, a lush, forested region teeming with wildlife and waterfalls. Spend the day observing animals from raised decks at a forest lodge waterhole, where elephants and other wildlife gather. Optional short nature walks can be arranged within the forest to explore the unique ecosystem.
DAY 3: ABERDARE – LAKE NAIVASHA
Descend into the Rift Valley toward Lake Naivasha, known for its serene setting and rich birdlife. Take a boat ride on the lake to see hippos and fish eagles before enjoying a walking safari on Crescent Island, home to freely roaming zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
DAY 4: LAKE NAIVASHA – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Depart early for Maasai Mara. The scenic drive includes rolling hills and traditional Maasai settlements. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive to explore the Mara’s vast savannah and wildlife, including elephants, lions, and antelopes, before sunset.
DAY 5: FULL DAY IN THE MAASAI MARA
Spend the full day on safari with a packed picnic lunch. Explore the Mara Triangle, visit the Mara River, and seek out the Big Five. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village for a cultural experience — engage in songs, dances, and community stories.
DAY 6: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Option for an early morning game drive before departing Maasai Mara. Travel back to Nairobi, enjoying stops for photos and cultural crafts along the way. Arrive in the late afternoon for drop-off at your preferred location.
DAY 7: OPTIONAL NAIROBI EXPERIENCE / DEPARTURE
Before your departure flight, choose to explore key Nairobi attractions such as the Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, or Karen Blixen Museum. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport will be arranged based on your flight schedule.
