7-Day Ultimate Safari Adventure in Tanzania
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to the Safari
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a TWENDE TOURS guide will warmly welcome you. Enjoy a scenic transfer to Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort & Spa (approx. 55 km, 1.5 hours). Check-in and unwind in your Standard room on bed & breakfast. Rest up for the adventure ahead!
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park – Birds & Wildlife
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 125 km, 2.5 hours). Known for its incredible birdlife, including flamingos and 300+ migratory species, you’ll also encounter the park’s famous tree-climbing lions and large herds of elephants.
After a day of game viewing, head to the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Manyara to Serengeti National Park – A Safari Classic
Following breakfast, journey towards the iconic Serengeti National Park (approx. 125 km, 2.5 hours). Stop at the Oldupai Museum to learn about early human history. Continue with a game drive through the Serengeti before checking in at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Full Day of Exploration
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti (packed lunch included). The Serengeti is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the majestic wildebeest migration, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and much more.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – A Scenic Drive
Enjoy breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive in South Serengeti. Then, exit the park through Naabi Gate and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 170 km, 4 hours).
Check-in at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay with breathtaking views.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – A Natural Wonder
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater (610 meters down) for a full day of game viewing. The crater is teeming with wildlife, including zebras, buffalo, elephants, and hyenas.
Enjoy a packed lunch amidst nature’s beauty, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Departure – Farewell to Tanzania
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha (approx. 190 km, 4.5 hours). With a packed lunch, your journey concludes, and we at TWENDE TOURS thank you for letting us be a part of your unforgettable African safari.
