3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
Day 1
Depart from Nairobi or Mombasa and travel to Tsavo West, entering the park through Mtito Andei or Tsavo Gate.
Arrive at your lodge or camp, nestled in the park’s rugged volcanic terrain. After lunch, go on a game drive where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife, all set against the backdrop of dramatic hills and lava fields.
Spend the evening enjoying dinner at your lodge with views of the wild.
Day 2
Begin the day with a game drive or a guided nature walk. Visit the clear, spring-fed pools of Mzima Springs, home to hippos and crocodiles, and later explore the Shetani Lava Flow—a vast expanse of hardened black lava.
In between, enjoy lunch either in the bush or back at the lodge. The afternoon can be spent on another game drive or relaxing with optional spa services or lodge amenities. Wind down the day with dinner and relaxation.
Day 3
Take an optional sunrise game drive or enjoy breakfast overlooking a waterhole before checking out.
Begin your journey back to Nairobi or Mombasa, reflecting on the dramatic landscapes and wildlife sightings that make Tsavo West such a unique safari destination.
